Follow the Instincts
A therapist told me to take care of my feelings, not necessarily just seeking a solution as your mind also has needs. I started to "digest" what it means - Listen to what your body trying to tell you, instead of overthinking to do something to save brain power. Yes, just "follow the gut feelings", just "do it, don't think" especially when going to bed. You write the address on an envelope, you need not to think, it's just your routine memory in your brain that helps you to do the task. You have breakfast, you need not to think as you just take that to your mouth and your body automatically digests the food. You go to bed, it's supposed to be programmed to be sleeping. Then you think too much that messes up the original programme, develop interference and worries. Let the mind wander, stay still, close your eyes, imagine you're sleeping and sleeping deep, slow down the breathing like what you have as in sleeping. Don't think, then a vi...
