Need more Head Space? Learn from everyday people

A magical night happened when I tried to figure out why I don't feel sleepiness. I realised that "God" might have given me hints here and there when I was meeting everyday people.

The masseuse said, "I have been feeling tired, so I went for hours of massage every day, but I still felt some discomfort. Then I went out running for a few days, I felt so relieved."

Another massage therapist told me another story that can explain work politics, "We like to please our guests by having a chat with them, especially women. Some women actually prefer male therapists as they may be more skillful. I know a masseuse who can speak English and is a good one, but we don't want her to be our freelancer as other colleagues don't want her. She's too nosy." So you might not get the best therapist in town but a more friendly one."

The pixar Lightyear is a bit disappointing. The storyline seems to assemble that of Top Gun but it's still worth watching for its ideas behind the storyline.

A group of people is being struck on a new planet with unfriendly plants that can eat people. Lightyear tries to complete a mission to save them all. He's determined to try and try and try again, spending 40 years, and of course with the help of a team, out of his surprise, not very trained. While he's trying, other people adapt their life and move on with a laser shield to protect themselves. Isn't it sound familiar? Does it refer to our unique living in 2020 - 2022?

Eventually, he succeeded with his mission, but he decided to let go and spend quality time with his new friends on this "new" planet. I think HK is a new planet to me. I met some new people online. Should I be the Lightyear who kept trying or spent years struggling and then letting go? The movie gives me an insight - leave the planet early or let go to have a new life which can be a new chapter in life.

Our body and mindset are different at different ages, life is so short. Don't miss the opportunity to stay curious and find out new things.

Today, I learnt this little story of Lightyear. The day before, I heard the story of work politics from a massage therapist. A week before, the masseuse told me how running helped with self-care.

While I realised I have been learning through life experience, I feel comfort and joy and I want to share with you and hope you can also enjoy little things in life.
